At Lygon House we aim to provide a home for people aged 67 and over with a housing need and to support independent living.
Lygon Almshouses
The Lygon Almshouses Trust is a charity established in 1833 that provides sheltered housing in Fulham for the elderly and vulnerable, with a focus on the people of Fulham. Located at 313-321 Fulham Palace Road, the trust operates a 40-flat building called Lygon House, which offers a communal garden, lounge, and other amenities for its residents.
The Charity
Lygon Almshouses are overseen by a dedicated group of Trustees who volunteer their time to govern the charity. While the Trustees hold overall responsibility for the management of the Almshouses, including rules and regulations, finances, repairs, and general day-to-day operations are handled by our staff team.
The Administrator and CEO manage the charity’s administration and finances and are your first point of contact.
